SIR ELTON JOHN
Sir Elton John is expected to perform at Nelson Mandelas ninetieth birthday
concert in London this summer.

The singing legend is rumoured to be the 'surprise' guest at the former South
African presidents celebrations on June 27th.

Amy Winehouse, Queen, Bono, Razorlight, Keane, Sugababes and Jamelia have
already confirmed they'll be playing the Hyde Park gig.

CANNES FILM FESTIVAL
Eva Longoria, Cate Blanchett and Mischa Barton are providing some extra glamour on the French Riviera.

It's day two of the Cannes FIlm Festival and already plenty of Hollywood
A-listers have arrived.

Last night the event was officially opened with the premiere of Julianne
Moore's new film, Blindness:

GWYNETH PALTROW
Gwyneth Paltrow has gone all out for her daughter Apples fourth birthday. The
actress has arranged an extravagant party in London. Gwyneth and husband Chris

Martin threw a Mexican fiesta to celebrate the second birthday of son Moses
earlier this year.

ONE REPUBLIC
One Republic have been back performing in the UK.

The musicians who've had two top ten hits including Apologise and Stop and
Stare played at Sheperds Bush Empire this week.

Lead singer Ryan Tedder has also penned songs for Leona Lewis and Natasha
Bedingfield.

BRITNEY SPEARS
Britney Spears is being tipped for a regular spot on sitcom How I Met Your
Mother.

One of the shows stars, Alyson Hannigan, is keen for Britney to return to the
set full-time.

It's believed TV bosses are considering the singer for a permanent role after
ratings soared when she returned for a second stint, playing ditzy receptionist

John Cleese says his third divorce will be worth every penny.

The Monty Python star's been ordered to pay his estranged wife seventy-five
thousand pounds a month, in temporary maintenance.
