Great
British Duck Race – 25/08/08
The team
at the Great British Duck Race Ltd based
in Oswestry, are planning to race one quarter
of a million blue plastic ducks down the
river Thames on Sunday 31st August 2008
setting a new world record! It
costs just £2 to “Adopt a
Duck” via, www.thegreatbritishduckrace.co.uk
and have a chance of winning one of 30
fantastic prizes, including £10,000
for the winning duck!
Adopt a duck and make
a donation to one of over 500 UK registered
charities.
Many of our local
charities are registered, including Hope
House, Lewis Prior Foundation, Lingen
Davies Cancer Care Appeal and Harvest
Help (Telford) to name a few. |

12.00-3.00pm - serving good value hot
meals and free use of cafe facilities
including pool table and table football.
