107.1 The Severn launched on Monday September 18th 2006, we are part of the Midland News Association who locally publish the Shropshire Star, Shropshire Magazine and Telford Journal.

The MNA also operate two other radio stations 107.4 Telford FM for East Shropshire and 107.2 The Wyre broadcasting across North Worcestershire.

Our Area
We broadcast to Oswestry and North Shropshire playing music from the classics to today, mixed with local news and information, sport, travel and weather.

News
Our local news service delivers local updates throughout the day and extended news bulletins weekdays at 1:00pm and 6:00pm, providing our listeners the most up to date comprehensive news for the area.

Music
We feature great oldies from the past four decades, along with the cream of the current Top 20 songs and album releases. We also feature specialist shows, including a dance party, 80's music, charts and new music from local, unsigned bands.

Our travel news service helps you get to your destination without being caught up in lengthy traffic jams.

Events Guide
We are part of the fabric of Oswestry and the surrounding area, send us details of your local events so we can pass them on to our listeners - it's free for charity and fund-raising events.
